K12's account management system, Parent ID Passport (PIPs), makes it easy to provide parents with secure access to online services whilst removing the burden of account management from your IT teams.
PIPs provides secure and flexible user account management that gives parents easy access to online services by allowing them to log in using Single Sign On (SSO), leveraging their existing accounts for Microsoft, Apple, Google, or via their social media accounts.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Setup is easy, with automated workflows that take the hassle out of provisioning accounts.
A workflow is triggered once a student's status is set to 'current', which pulls parent details from TASS and automatically provisions their account. |

Parents receive an email asking them to set-up their PIPs account and choose their preferred login method (i.e an existing login for Facebook or Microsoft).

Parents use their PIPs login to access TASS and other SAML or Oauth capable systems, managing ongoing maintenance like updating or resetting passwords themselves.
