There are several important actions that must be undertaken prior to upgrading.
Before you can upgrade, you must meet the prerequisites outlined in the document below.
Version 52 is now available for your school via the TASS Software Update program.
To upgrade to v52 your current version will need to be 01.051.6.X
Navigate to System Admin > Utilities > TASS Software Updates and upgrade to 01.052.6.
Make sure that you know what the changes are in your area of operation.
You can do this by downloading the Release Notes or checking out the major features by watching the videos below.
If you have not yet upgraded but want to try out the new TASS features for yourself, log into our online evaluation area and take a look around.
Explore a host of new Student and System Administration changes and enhancements such as:
- Updated navigation and menu system
- Name Tokens
- Multi-campus timetables
- New Australian Immunisation Register
- Academic reporting enhancements
- API enhancements and security
Take a look at the major Finance enhancements included in Version 52:
- New YTD column for Cash Flow Statement
- Approver visibility when running AP Hold Payments Processing
- New General Ledger Analytics API
- Parent Lounge Payment Schedules
- Payroll Online Timesheets (Currently in BETA with full availability flagged during Term 2)
The Version 52 has a number of new and intuitive portal solutions such as:
- New ways to update information in Parent Lounge
- New Homepage options for My Customer Rolls and Timesheets to Action
- New Resource Booking program
- Extra Curricular Management enhancements
- New Learning Support program
