Damien Snare
Damien celebrated 10 years with the TASS team and also stepped into a new role as a Pre-sales Consultant.
Jack Lee-Rendell
Our Customer Team Leader, Jack Lee-Rendell was promoted to his new role as a Product Owner for Finance & Payroll/HR.
James Halford
James stepped up into the Customer Care Team Lead position for Student Administration, from his previous role as an Application Support Analyst.

Deb changed stations and jumped on board the TrackOne Studio Team as the TrackOne Studio Team Leader.

This year we welcomed three new Certified Integration Partners!
Certified Integrations are fully supported by the TASS Customer Care team, allowing schools to deploy a ready-made 'off the shelf' solution for their data exchange requirements.

This year, TASS embarked on an intergalactic journey and launched the first of three apps, Parent Orbit! Officially launching in May of this year, the Orbit team have been busy continuing to develop new features for the app and getting existing and new TASS schools up and running with their parent communities.

Staff Orbit Launch
While new functionality continues to be released for the Parent Orbit app, the team is also busy developing our second app, Staff Orbit! Development is being led by our six Special Interest Group schools, to ensure we're hitting the mark for the look, feel and functionality that schools need.
Staff Orbit will be launching in the first half of 2024, so keep your eyes peeled for future updates.

Extra Curricular Project
As recently announced, our Extra Curricular Project is already well underway!
In September, we launched the brand new Extra Curricular Hub in Parent Orbit, and we have a lot more exciting things planned. The first of these enhancements can be expected from Term 1 2024.

Custom Roll Enhancements
In conjunction with our Extra Curricular Project, extensive enhancements can be expected for Custom Rolls.
The aim of these enhancements is to dramatically reduce the amount of admin time required to set up, maintain and mark custom rolls while also giving schools the flexibility to cater for scenarios where students aren't where they're expected to be and provide more visibility of students' whereabouts.
These changes will also allow for enhanced parent interaction as they will soon be able to notify their school of planned absences of extra curricular activities.
Scheduling & Dispensing of Student Medication
In 2024, schools can anticipate a new system that will change the way student medications are managed.
This new system will not only facilitate scheduled and non-scheduled medication administration, but will also provide timely alerts for staff, ensuring that medications are administered when they are needed. A log will also be included to ensure all medication administered is recorded.

Academic Reporting Overhaul Project
Our Academic Reporting Overhaul Project is still underway, with additional functionality being delivered in 2024. Next year, users can expect calculation of Activity Total Scores from the new Markbook, additional save prompts, Default Calculation Rules, Z Scores and estimates, a new Assessment API and more!
Further resources for using the new Markbook can be expected in the new year to ensure customers are up to speed with the new program prior to webBook going End of Life in mid-2024.
Payment Schedules Bulk Update
Enhancements are on the way to introduce a bulk updating capability for payment schedules.
This will allow the remaining instalments of a payment schedule to be amended based on charges and credits applied to parent accounts after the statement and payment schedule have been set up.

Charges & Credits for Enrolled Students
Schools have the need to invoice enrolled students prior to their commencement for items such as school uniforms.
Enhancements can be expected in 2024 to expand the functionality of School Shop, Parent Accounts, and associated reports. This will allow charges and credits to be applied to enrolled students.
Employment Position & Roles History
Payroll users will soon be able to track employee's history of positions as well as their other employment engagements.
A History Link against the Position Title and Position Code fields will provide a history of the employee's previous Titles or Codes. A new tab will also be added to the employee record which will also show other current or past employment engagements.
