The Department of Education’s Student Residential Address and Other Information Collection (Address Collection), formally known as SES return, is the collection and reporting of student residential address information.

To help you complete your school's Address Collection, we have put together some resources.

LET'S GET STARTED

STEP 1 | IS YOUR SCHOOL Communication rules ENABLED?

If you're not sure whether your school has Communication Rules enabled, this video can help you check.

Communication Rules is mandatory from v52 onwards. If your school has Communication Rules Disabled, please contact TASS support.

STEP 2 | Has your school updated to the latest version?

The Department of Education and Training has made changes to the file format for the 2020 Address Collection. 

To ensure that you are using the correct format, make sure that your school has upgraded to the latest TASS version (v01.051.4.120).

STEP 3 | ACCESS OUR ADDRESS COLLECTION RESOURCES

We have put together a checklist and video to help you prepare for your Address Collection.

STEP 4 | SUBMIT YOUR COLLECTION

In previous years, your schools data needed to be uploaded into the School Entry Point System (SEP). This year SEP has been replaced by the SchoolsHub Portal.

ENSURE ACCURACY WITH ADDRESS VALIDATION

Our Address Validation enhancement checks and verifies addresses entered by parents or staff against known Australian postal addresses.

This data can then be used to complete your school's Address Collection - saving time and resources.
