These Frequently Asked Questions will help you understand what’s different, how it works, who’s involved, when it’s happening and provide an intro to where we’ve made changes.
Single Touch Payroll (STP) is a government initiative to streamline business reporting obligations.
Through STP, payroll information including salary, wages, PAYG withholding and superannuation will be reported to the ATO after each Pay Run.

Before you can enable the STP functionality in TASS, we’ll need to connect you to Ozedi who will securely transmit your STP data to the ATO. A licensed TASS API will be used to make the connection.

Version 49 will be released. Flag this date in your calendar and schedule in a time to upgrade. Don’t forget to complete your pre-upgrade tasks. |

This is the cut-off date for upgrading to Version 49, enabling STP and transmitting STP Pay Events to the ATO. If you are unable to commence Singe Touch Payroll Reporting by 31 October 2018, you will need to apply to the ATO for a separate employer-initiated deferral. |
