Follow these steps to get organised for another year with TASS.
It's important that the right people are receiving the right emails.
So please ensure that your email preferences are up-to-date and accurate.
STILL NOT RECEIVING EMAILS?
Some schools have filters that can block you from receiving external emails; be sure to check any spam/quarantine folders and whitelist TASS so you don't miss any important updates.
We’ve created a range of training sessions designed to make the new year as productive as possible for your school.
TASS v56 is scheduled for general release in April, and it's bringing a host of new features and enhancements with it.
As part of a multi-stage update to the functionality available in the Academic Reporting module, v56 sees a
Phase 1 focus on setups and back-end maintenance.
A consolidation of setup programs, improved user interface and navigation, upload functions and new and
enhanced grid functionality are just some of the advancements in this latest release.
Using new field types, capture important documents and dates.
Additional functionality will also allow your school to disseminate UD Area information to employees with a workflow for information to be updated online through the Staff Portal.
Quickly identifying the correct person to contact can sometimes be tricky.
The new Primary Contact Identifier will allow you to prioritise who to contact at a glance, minimising the risk of miscommunication in complex family situations.
Bulk rollover tools will be introduced in v56 to support the quick renewal and extension of Learning Support Plans and Adjustments that carry over into the next teaching period.
The Student Medical (Lists/Emails) has been enhanced with a fresh new user interface, summary mode report and report scheduling functionality.
The 'Work Schedule' functionality, which defines the days and hours for part-time employees, has been extended to allow non-TASS Payroll schools to use the Leave Application features and associated workflows in the Staff Portal.
The Address Validation functionality, currently used to verify the accuracy of parent addresses and keep formatting consistent throughout the TASS database, has been extended to Donors, Past Students and Employees.
Between academic performance, national and external test results, classroom observations and attendance, schools have access to a lot of data on their students' performance - but it can be difficult to know how or when to use this information.
Giving staff, parents and students access to a tool that captures, analyses and interprets that data can help schools proactively identify the need for academic or wellbeing interventions, and ultimately optimise learning outcomes for students.
TrackOne Studio, the latest member of the TASS family of products, provides a comprehensive Learning Analytics Suite with a clear, interactive user interface that utilises the data already in your TASS system and can integrate with other software in your ecosystem.
